Is this client a candidate for permanent eyeliner?
As PMU artists, we want to be sure that our clients understand the procedure they are about to go through, what it entails, what the potential risks are and what to expect afterwards.
A well-informed client will usually have fewer questions, concerns or complications during their session and while healing.
Have uncontrolled diabetes?
Currently pregnant/breastfeeding?
Have cancer/are currently undergoing chemo/radiation?
Are on any contraindicated medications?
Have an open wound on the area?
Are currently using lash serum?
Have history of keloid scarring ?
Proper client records must be obtained.
Be sure to gather the proper information and forms for your client, according to your state regulations:
Copy of photo ID
Health Intake Form
Risk Acknowledgement Form/Consent to PMU Procedure
Pre-procedure Instructions (what not to do before)
After Care Instructions
Follow-up Appointment card
