Color Selection
COOL
Choose a Cool Pigment color for women with pale to fair skin, with some rosy hues.
These ladies tend to have warm skin tones which may require cooler colors for eyeliner.
Clients with warm skin often have upper eyeliner that tends to be cooler than lower eyeliner, so choose a warmer dark color for upper eyeliner to compensate for this.

NEUTRAL
Choose a Neutral Pigment for ladies with gold tones in their skin.
Neutral pigments contain a little more red in them than cool colors, but less than warm colors.
If your client’s skin is fair and golden but not rosy, or darker with less blue undertones, select a neutral pigment.

WARM
Choose a Warm Pigment for the tanned, darker skin tones, olive, Hispanic, Native American and African American skin types.
To prevent the eyeliner from shifting into a blue tone, artists like to modify their black pigment by adding drops of orange and red color in the mix.
